Gemmological Association of Australia
The GAA was established in 1945 and is a not for profit organisation. Primarily it seeks to educate gemmologists, jewellers and the general public in the area of gemstones and their substitues.

Gold & Silversmiths Guild Australia
The GSGA was formed by a group of manufacturing jewellers in 1988. It maintains a record of the guild members names and hallmarks to clearly identify the items marked as being made in Australia.
